Moon Jamz Music Workshops are free BIPOC centered community music, art, and healing workshops that incorporate freestyle/cyphers and music improvisation. Moon Jamz Music Workshops happen once a month around the time of a full or new moon and are facilitated by spoken word artist Daneca Tran and artist/musician Priya Marita Diaz, at Plaza Artista Studio, a community arts space on Beacon Hill in Seattle.

The Moon Jamz workshops are focused on providing local BIPOC musicians, visual artists, and other creatives with an opportunity to come together to co-create music, engage in artistic healing practices and share creative knowledge and resources. From professional vocalists and instrumentalists, to dancers, painters and sound healers, and to those whose artistic practice is just starting to emerge, our workshops serve a diverse creative community.
